Gloria Lopez is working as a Certified Peer Specialist at Frontier Behavioral Health. She has worked in both the Crisis Response Services and the Access to Care Departments. Gloria has been living her Recovery Journey for over thirty years and believes that hope and community are her cornerstones. Gloria’s background in education (bachelor’s degree in the Art of Education, classroom teaching and staff development) have fostered a strong belief that information/knowledge can make a difference. Working on the Peers Empower Peers Conference team has provided the chance to celebrate and share her hope and experience in the context of community. Gloria is a humble and happy servant of a curmudgeonly cat ironically named Pretty Boy (what he answers to). Gloria also likes to garden and explore historical sites.
