A native to the Pacific North West, Amanda is the Supportive Housing Program Manager and Trainer with the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery since 2018. Serving Eastern Washington as a certified peer in 2011. Amanda began her journey in direct service in the PORCH Program (Permanent Options for Recovery Centered Housing) as a Recovery Coach as well as an Outreach Specialist for the PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness) program. Harnessing her professional and personal experience in housing, she is a firm believer in choice as a key to recovery. Amanda advocates for the Housing First model as a safe place to begin the journey to recovery and empowerment as a key piece to ending stigma.
