By being individually produced and counterculture in nature, there is no specific way tocreate or use zines. However, I propose a short and fun workshop in which we look atsome effective zines throughout history, explore some best practices for using andcreating zines for use in the mental health arena, and try it out ourselves by making ourown zine together.
Not so much a "how to", rather I draw from my lived experience of what I call my evolutionary journey of becoming who I am, finding myself in the culture and language of my own people, and then bringing that my work with Native peers.
